MolPrime – darmowy program na iPada iPhone do rysowania struktur cząsteczek i nie tylko Czwartek, Gru 20 2012

MolPrime to program, który można ściągnąć przez Appstore w dwóch wersjach – darmowej, lub płatnej (0,89 Euro). Ja używam wersji darmowej, ponieważ jest dla moich potrzeb zupełnie wystarczająca.

Program jest bardzo prosty, wręcz intuicyjny w obsłudze, a dodatkowo jest bardzo ładnie wykonany, więc naprawdę miło się z niego korzysta:)

Do czego może się przydać ten program?

• rysowanie struktur cząsteczek chemicznych – nawet bardzo zaawansowanych – można korzystać z matryc (gotowych templatów) dostępnych już w programie i je modyfikować na własne potrzeby
• przesyłania tych struktur przez email,
• w zakładce „composition” program podaje nam wiele informacji na temat narysowanej cząsteczki: masa cząsteczkowa, wzór sumaryczny, liczba ciężkich atomów, liczba protonodonorów, liczba protonoakceptorów, wartościowość poszczególnych atomów
• pozwala wyszukać narysowaną strukturę poprzez ChemSpider Mobile

Atom-Builder – z czego składa się ta drobina? – darmowa aplikacja na iPhona, iPoda i iPada Sobota, Gru 1 2012

Atom-Builder to bardzo prosty program w formie gry na czas.

Zasady tej gry są proste. W lewym górnym rogu pokazana jest drobina w zapisie symbolicznym (pokazane są: liczba masowa, liczba atomowa, oraz ładunek).

Na tej podstawie uczeń ma za zadanie wyznaczyć liczbę elektronów, protonów i neutronów budujących daną drobinę – atom, lub jon.

Korzyści z używania tej gry są oczywiste, więc nie będę o nich pisał.

Gra ma również opcję treningu, który nie jest na czas, więc każdy może przyzwyczaić się do interfejsu, który i tak jest bardzo prosty.

Chemical Bonds – darmowy program na iPada i iPhona pokazujący kształt cząsteczek Środa, List 21 2012

Program Chemical Bonds pozwala na zobrazowanie przestrzenne wzorów prostych cząsteczek chemicznych posiadających jeden atom centralny.

Z tego co zdążyłem się zorientować korzysta on najprawdopodobniej z uproszczonego modelu VSEPR.

Program ma jeden mankament – nie potrafi samodzielnie „zdecydować” czy cząsteczka jest liniowa, czy ma strukturę zgiętą, a więc należy samodzielnie przeanalizować wolne pary elektronowe występujące na atomie centralnym związku.

iAtomic Free – darmowa gra logiczna z układaniem wzorów związków chemicznych na iPhona Środa, List 7 2012

iAtomic to prosta, logiczna gra edukacyjna.

Co trzeba zrobić? Na górze ekranu przedstawiony jest wzór kreskowy cząsteczki chemicznej, a poniżej labirynt z atomami, które trzeba ułożyć z powrotem w cząsteczkę. Do każdej cząsteczki dołączony jest link do Wikipedii.
